Pied Avocet is my favourite wader in Hong Kong. I love her black-and-white combination. At the same time, I love watching her foraging in wetlands in a large group! This black-and-white wader is just perfect!

Skill level: Intermediate
Project time: 3-4 hours
Pattern is in US terms.

Outcome size of DK yarn:
H: 11 cm; W: 5 cm, D: 7 cm

Materials I used:
DK yarn (black and white)
2.20 mm crochet hook
8.0mm safety eyes
Sewing needles, pin needles
Stuffing and stitch marker
Wire (0.8mm diameter)

You will need to know how to read a crochet pattern.
Major techniques used: magic ring, single crochet increase/decrease, invisible color change.
I have a photo appendix to show all the methods I used.
Sewing is required in this pattern.
