About Calico Crafts HK (三喵織物）
Hello to whoever stops by. I am Kitty, and I started Calico in 2022, trying different kinds of crochet products, and here I am right now, making different animals.
I love all kinds of animals and studied ecology at University. I self-learn crochet and couldn’t help wanting to make all my favorite birds and animals into a crochet toy (amigurumi). I wanted to introduce everyone to the amazing, fascinating animal world, where birds can have dramatic feathers to attract females, and mammals develop all kinds of characteristics to survive in the world.
All those animals around the world that we have missed, and I want to present them in crochet. Making them into a crochet toy, reconnects people with these amazing animals.
I hope one day, this little shop of mine will be a field guide to people to make animals around the world.
