This is the first amigurumi pattern in chenille yarn~ I am so happy to make this birdie crochet pattern, the result is too cute to handle! The chenille yarn has the advantage of making everything very fluffy and cute, yet, it is challenging to manage if you are a complete beginner. I wrote in another blog about its difficulties and tips to handle the yarn better! Please check them out if you are also using chenille yarn for the first time.

The whole bird can be completed in 2 hours, a perfect project in the Easter Holiday~

The standard gauge for crochet is 16/ 9.5steps (DC). The recommended hook size is 4.0mm. I’m using a 3.00mm hook to make the toy firmer. You will also need 8.0mm safety eyes and some stuffing for the pattern.
